On this blog, you''ll find a lot of postmortem/live bug check (BSOD) debugging, malware analysis, and reverse engineering.
I just had this same BSOD. I don't use AVG. I have been using Avast on two Identical WIN8.1 laptops for more than 6 months. One has had this BSOD twice the other never. I can't boot the machine since the error. I am in the recovery console running chkkdsk /r/f on the C:Any ideas on getting her booted? This limits my ability to fix it tremendously.
Hi,When you have an 0x7A bug check and the system no longer boots, it generally implies the hard disk has failed.Regards,Patrick
